On August 10, 2024, the Paris 2024 Marathon Pour Tous will take place, enabling more than 40,000 amateur athletes to use the same route as the Olympic marathon.
At the same time, Paris 2024 is organizing the indoor connected Marathon Pour Tous via the Kinomap application. This time, there are no restrictions! Runners, cyclists and rowers from all over the world will be able to take part in this legendary event from their homes or gyms on August 10 and 11. Fitness Park gyms will be opening their doors to the general public for the occasion. A unique sporting event to experience the Olympic Games as if you they were there!
What is the indoor connected Marathon Pour Tous?
Kinomap enables athletes of all levels to take part in the Paris 2024 connected Marathon Pour Tous indoors, on all machines compatible with the application: treadmills, exercise bikes, home trainers, rowing machines, elliptical trainers and hand-pedal bike. Connected to the equipment, you’ll experience the sensations of a race as if you were on the official course, thanks to the changing incline of the treadmill or the resistance of the bike according to the topography. Participants will find themselves immersed in certain sections of the Olympic marathon course!
Several videos will be available
On Kinomap, each participant can choose from four official videos of the Olympic marathon course. An audio guide will accompany all the videos, providing a guided tour in both French and English. The goal? 30 minutes of sports activity is enough to complete the challenge goal
- A 30-minute video retracing the most beautiful monuments on the route, with an audio guided tour
- A 30-minute video featuring the Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games competition venues with more detailed sports explanations
- A 15K video Marathon, including the Côte des Gardes, the legendary climb that is a test of effort and performance
- The full video of the Olympic Marathon course: 42 km of intense immersion, with an audio guided tour of the Parisians monuments
Iconic prizes to be won
Not only will you take part in this groundbreaking event, but you’ll also have a chance to win one of 42 Paris 2024 Olympic Games souvenir boxes. These suitcases contain emblematic objects that you may be able to pick up as a symbolic souvenir. Inside, you’ll find bibs and posters autographed by athletes, posters, sports bags, iconic T-shirts, phryges, etc.!
To participate in the indoor connected Marathon Pour Tous
It couldn’t be simpler! Just download the Kinomap application, click on the “Challenge” menu, and register for the connected Marathon Pour Tous. When registering, each participant chooses the country for which he or she wishes to compete. During the event, a ranking by country will be displayed.
At the end of the event, participants will receive a finishers poster, just like the Marathon Pour Tous runners, and will be entered in the draw.
