Discover Kinomap’s New Training Screen: More Freedom, More Personalization

Kinomap is taking your training experience to the next level with a brand-new training screen designed to offer more freedom, better visibility, and greater immersion.

With more customization options, a more user-friendly layout, and features tailored to each sport, you can now create a training screen that truly matches the way you work out.

The goal is simple: give you the information that matters most, when you need it, while making more room for what makes Kinomap unique: real-world training videos.

A Training Screen That Adapts to You

With the new training screen, you’re in control of the data displayed during your workouts.

Choose which metrics you want to track, where they appear, and how they’re arranged. You can also hide any information you don’t need to keep your screen clean and focused.

Four different layouts are available:

  • 6 small data blocks
  • 1 large block and 4 small blocks
  • 2 large blocks and 2 small blocks
  • 3 large blocks

Once you’ve customized your screen, Kinomap saves your preferences and automatically applies them to your next workouts.

And if you’d rather keep things simple, each sport comes with its own default layout, optimized for that activity.

The Right Metrics for Every Sport

The data you need isn’t the same when you’re cycling, running, or rowing. That’s why the new training screen is designed to match the specific needs of each activity.

For cycling, you can display metrics such as workout duration, distance, speed, power, cadence, heart rate, intensity zones, calories, and elevation gain.

For running, you can track your pace in min/km, along with speed, cadence, heart rate, calories, distance, and elevation gain.

For rowing, the screen focuses on relevant metrics such as your 500-meter split time, stroke rate, distance, calories, and heart rate.

Whatever your sport, you get a training screen built around the metrics that matter to you.

More Data, Without Cluttering Your Screen

Want more insights without filling your screen with extra metrics?

Some data blocks now let you switch between different values with a simple tap.

For example, tap the cadence metric to switch between your current cadence and your average cadence.

The same feature is available for heart rate, speed, pace, and power.

It’s an easy way to access more information whenever you need it, without displaying everything at once.

A Clearer, More Customizable Interface

Personalization goes beyond choosing your metrics. You can also adjust how they appear on your screen.

Change the size of your data blocks, adjust their opacity, or hide them entirely to find the perfect balance between your performance data and the training video.

Three display sizes are available:

  • 80%: Prioritize the video with smaller data blocks
  • 100%: Enjoy a balanced layout
  • 120%: Make your training data more prominent

Love having all your performance stats in view? Build your own detailed dashboard.

Prefer to focus on the scenery with just a few essential metrics? Keep things minimal.

Your screen, your preferences.

Full Immersion, Just One Tap Away

One of the biggest advantages of the new training screen is that it gives more space to what makes Kinomap special: real-world videos and routes from around the globe.

The redesigned interface takes up less space, allowing you to enjoy more of the scenery as you train.

And when you want to focus entirely on the route, you can hide the interface with a single tap and switch to full immersion mode.

Whether you’re climbing a mountain pass, running along the coast, or rowing across a lake, you can now enjoy a more immersive experience while keeping your essential training data just a glance away.

Your Workout Keeps Going, Even When Kinomap Is in the Background

You asked for it, and it’s finally here!

With the new training screen, your workout can continue even when you switch to another app.

Need to reply to a message? Change your music? Check another app or browse the web?

You can now do all of that without interrupting your workout.

It’s a small change that makes a big difference, giving you more flexibility and freedom throughout your training sessions.

A More Flexible Remote Display Experience

The Remote Display feature is also getting an upgrade, giving you even more control over how you use your phone and external screen.

Both displays can now work more independently, letting you decide what appears on each one.

Want to see the map on your phone and the training video on your big screen? Or the other way around? Prefer to keep the leaderboard on one display while enjoying the route on the other?

It’s entirely up to you.

With this new training screen, Kinomap isn’t just introducing a fresh look. It’s making your entire training experience more personal, more immersive, and more flexible.

Your workout. Your data. Your screen. Make it yours!
